  • 23 tablespoons milk
  • White gel food coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter in a microwave-safe bowl or saucepan. Let cool slightly.
  3. Whisk melted butter and granulated sugar together until combined.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition until the mixture is lighter and thicker.
  5. Stir in vanilla extract.
  6. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  7. Gently fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined. Do not overmix.
  8. Fold in chocolate chips.
  9. Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  11. Cool brownies completely in the pan on a wire rack.
  12. While brownies cool, mix powdered sugar, milk, and white gel food coloring to create a thick icing.
  13. Drizzle icing in random squiggly lines over the cooled brownies.
  14. Drag a toothpick through the icing in one direction, then the opposite direction, and from center to edges to create a web pattern.
  15. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes
