A quick and easy party snack featuring a rich blend of cream cheese, ranch, and buffalo sauce with shredded chicken and melted cheese. Perfect for game day or weeknight cravings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1/2 cup full-fat ranch dressing
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce (e.g., Frank’s RedHot)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, sliced (optional garnish)
  • Extra ranch dressing for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, ranch dressing, buffalo sauce, and minced garlic. Mix until completely smooth.
  3. Fold in the shredded chicken and half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×9 inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes until bubbling around the edges and cheese is melted.
  7. Switch oven to broil and broil for 2-3 minutes until the top is golden brown and spotted. Watch closely to prevent burning.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes before garnishing with green onions and serving.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is softened to room temperature to avoid lumps. Use block cheese for better melting than pre-shredded varieties. Watch the broiler closely as cheese can burn quickly. For a milder dip, reduce buffalo sauce to 1/4 cup.
