This Easy 3-Ingredient Pumpkin Chai Latte is a quick, cozy fall drink made with real pumpkin, chai concentrate, and milk. Ready in under 5 minutes, it’s the perfect warm hug in a mug for busy mornings or crisp afternoons.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin purée (not pumpkin pie filling)
  • 1 cup chai tea concentrate (such as Tazo or Oregon Chai)
  • ½ cup milk of your choice (whole milk, oat milk, almond milk, or coconut milk)
  • Optional: whipped cream, pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon, caramel or maple syrup drizzle

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, whisk together 2 tablespoons pumpkin purée and ½ cup milk until mostly incorporated.
  2. Heat the mixture over medium-low heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tiny bubbles form around the edges. Do not let it boil.
  3. Pour in 1 cup chai tea concentrate and stir to combine. Increase heat to medium and warm for another 1-2 minutes until hot but not bubbling.
  4. Remove from heat and taste. Adjust sweetness with maple syrup or honey, or add extra spices like cinnamon or ginger if desired.
  5. Optional: Froth the mixture with a milk frother for 10-15 seconds, or pour into a mug and stir vigorously with a fork.
  6. Pour into a warmed mug. Top with whipped cream, a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon, and a drizzle of caramel or maple syrup if desired.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

Always whisk pumpkin with cold milk first to prevent clumping. Use medium-low heat to avoid scorching the milk. For a dairy-free version, use oat milk or full-fat coconut milk. For a lower sugar option, use unsweetened milk and a ‘less sweet’ chai concentrate. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days; reheat on the stovetop over medium-low heat.
