These no-bake, patriotic jello cups feature red, white, and blue layers that mimic candy corn stripes. Made with just a few simple ingredients, they’re perfect for summer gatherings and look impressive with minimal effort.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box (3 oz) Strawberry Jello
  • 1 box (3 oz) Lime Jello
  • 1 box (3 oz) Berry Blue Jello
  • 1 can (14 oz) Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 cup Boiling Water (per jello box, plus extra for white layer)
  • 1/2 cup Cold Water (per jello box, plus extra for white layer)
  • 1 packet (about 1 tablespoon) Unflavored Gelatin (optional, recommended)
  • Clear Plastic Cups (9 oz)

Instructions

  1. Make the Red Layer (Bottom): In a medium bowl, empty the strawberry jello powder. Add 1 cup of boiling water and stir for about 2 minutes, until the powder is completely dissolved. Then add 1/2 cup of cold water and stir. Let it cool for about 10 minutes at room temperature. Pour about 1/4 cup of the red jello into each clear plastic cup. You want the layer to be about 1 inch thick. Place the cups on a tray and carefully transfer them to the fridge. Let them set for at least 1 hour, or until the…
  2. Make the White Layer (Middle): While the red layer is setting, prepare the white layer. In a small bowl, sprinkle the unflavored gelatin over 1/4 cup of cold water. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to bloom. In a separate bowl, add 1/2 cup of boiling water to the lime jello powder and stir until dissolved. Then add the bloomed gelatin mixture and stir until itโ€™s fully melted. Now, add the entire can of sweetened condensed milk and stir until everything is smooth and creamy. The mixture should look…
  3. Make the Blue Layer (Top): When the white layer is firm, prepare the blue jello. In a bowl, empty the berry blue jello powder. Add 1 cup of boiling water and stir until dissolved. Then add 1/2 cup of cold water and stir. Let it cool for about 10 minutes. Gently pour about 1/4 cup of the blue jello on top of the white layer. Again, pour slowly to avoid mixing the layers. Return the cups to the fridge and let them set for at least 2 hours, or until the top layer is completely firm.
  4. Chill and Serve: Once all three layers are set, cover the cups with plastic wrap or a lid if you have them. Chill for at least 4 hours, but overnight is even better. The longer they sit, the cleaner the layers become. When youโ€™re ready to serve, just pull them out of the fridge and watch everyoneโ€™s face light up.

Notes

Patience is keyโ€”let each layer set completely before adding the next to avoid muddy colors. Use unflavored gelatin in the white layer for firmness. Let jello cool to room temperature before pouring to prevent melting the layer below. For best results, chill overnight.
