A simple, no-bake Halloween dessert featuring layers of Oreo cookie crumbs and a rich, creamy whipped cream cheese filling, topped with gummy worms and candy eyes for a spooky treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 Oreo cookies
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar (for crumbs)
  • 8 ounces full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for filling)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Gummy worms
  • Candy eyes (optional)
  • Mini chocolate chips
  • Reserved Oreo crumbs for topping

Instructions

  1. Crush 20 Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a ziploc bag and smashing with a rolling pin.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the crushed Oreos, melted butter, and 1 tablespoon powdered sugar. Stir until the crumbs resemble wet sand.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, 1/2 cup powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt on medium speed until smooth and creamy.
  4. In a separate cold bowl, whip the heavy cream on high speed until stiff peaks form.
  5. Gently fold the whipped heavy cream into the cream cheese mixture using a spatula until just combined, being careful not to deflate the cream.
  6. Assemble the cups by spooning a layer of cookie crumb mixture into the bottom of clear cups.
  7. Top with a generous layer of the cream cheese filling.
  8. Add more cookie crumbs on top and tuck in gummy worms, candy eyes, and mini chocolate chips for decoration.
  9. Serve immediately or chill for 30 minutes to set.

Notes

Keep cream cheese and heavy cream cold until mixing. Do not over-process Oreos into powder; some texture is desired. For best texture, assemble cups the day of serving as cookies will soften over time. Can be stored in the fridge for 2-3 days if assembled, or longer if ingredients are stored separately.
